Client Need
Large Pacific Northwest school district was utilizing engine block heaters to ensure their diesel buses would start on cold winter mornings. They either had to let the heaters run all night long, or have an employee come in really early to get things started. Additionally, the area was a mess with cords – an obvious safety issue. Looking for better efficiency, energy savings and cord management, they looked to KH for a cord reel solution.
KH Solution
KH engineers customized their standard 4×2 Cord Reel Power Stations to include 4 reels per station and optional timers that the customer could set based on their need. The solution was turned around fairly quickly so they could enjoy the benefits of their custom solution before the end of the winter season.
