“Frank Neve, foreman at Glacial Lakes Cranberries, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI came to us over six years ago. He needed a remote controlled spotlight for his trucks for nighttime inspection.” explains Jennifer Hillman, marketing manager of KH Industries.

“The terrain is very rough on our 330 acre farm.  I was destroying the competitor’s Spotlights and got tired of having to replace them on a yearly bases.  I saw our local utility company with NightRay Spotlights and checked them out.  We have been happy with them ever since 2009, as a matter of fact I’m still using the original NightRay Spotlights today.”

Frank mounts a 360,000-cp NightRay Spotlight on the back of his pick-up truck to a headache rack. “The halogen spotlight cuts through the fog to allow me to see any problems that may exist. I like being able to get out of the truck and still be able to maneuver the light with the wireless controller.”

Frank explains the cranberry harvesting process, “First we flood our beds, then we knock off the berries with a harrower, then we completely flood the beds to let the berries float in the direction the wind blows them, then we corral them with boom sacks with tractors pulling from each side. The last process on the marsh is to load them into tandem dump trucks then haul them to our receiving station.”
