Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Fabrication Technician to program, set up, and operate multiple pieces of advanced fabrication equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical background, the ability to interpret engineering drawings, and hands-on experience in precision sheet metal fabrication.

This is not a basic operator role—we are looking for someone who understands fabrication processes, takes ownership of quality, and can contribute to continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC laser cutter, press brake, and router table
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders with precision
• Perform setup and tooling adjustments for optimized production runs
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of all completed parts
• Support MIG/TIG welding operations as needed
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on fabrication equipment
• Identify and support process improvements and efficiency initiatives
• Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality standards

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication or CNC manufacturing (preferred for “high-end” candidate)
• Proven ability to program and set up CNC equipment (laser, press brake, or similar)
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding preferred
• High mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Commitment to quality, precision, and continuous improvement

Preferred Experience:

• Multi-machine fabrication experience (laser + brake + router)
• CAD/CAM familiarity
• Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environments
• Strong troubleshooting and machine optimization skills

Schedule & Benefits

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday (7:00am- 3:30pm)
• Hourly Rate $24.00-$36.00
