Client Need
A commercial boat builder had a need to replace constant tension cord reels mounted on their cranes. Their requirements included a need for an extremely long cable on the reel due to the length of the crane extension. Additionally, this custom order reel had to be a NEMA 4 reel, suitable for outdoor use.
KH Solution
A heavy duty industrial RTI cord reel, 20 amps with the 150 feet of 12/3 cable was provided to the client. The NEMA 4X reel continues to provide a solution even under harsh climate conditions.
