Keeping Distribution Rolling Without Downtime

One of our long-term food and beverage clients, a major international distributor, came to us with a recurring problem. They needed to keep electric pallet jacks and onboard truck equipment charged inside their tractor-trailers. Some sites had patched together temporary fixes, but failure rates were increasing. Others had no solution at all.

We started with our Cord Reel Power Station and built from there. The client had multiple facility layouts, so one model would not cut it. Our engineers modified the reel stations for different mounting types, including wall installations and Jersey barriers. We also adjusted the power specs to match their fleet’s exact needs.

Since then, they’ve been rolling out these solutions across North America. They’ve replaced failing systems with dependable power setups, and they’ve equipped previously unsupported locations. Now their trucks stay charged and ready, no matter the site.

Powering Crane Booms in Harsh Outdoor Conditions

An industrial crane operator reached out with a tough request. They needed a way to deliver power along the extended booms of their heavy-duty cranes. The equipment operated outdoors year-round, which meant constant exposure to rain, snow, and dust. Their main concern was finding something that could survive without constant repair.

We recommended our RTF cord reels with a NEMA 4X rating. Built for corrosive environments, these reels handle rough weather without breaking down. After installing them, the customer reported fewer outages and less downtime. Years later, they still check in to say the reels are holding strong.

Custom Lighting Built for Shipbuilding Safety

A global shipbuilder came to us after dealing with constant failures from their traditional trouble lights. They needed portable lighting that was bright, extremely durable, and covered a wide area. On top of that, they wanted built-in battery backup for emergency egress lighting.

Our LED Quad Light already met most of their needs, but it lacked the backup feature. We worked with them to add it. The result was a reliable lighting solution that could handle daily use and power outages. Thousands of these lights now line their facilities, and that custom feature became a permanent part of our product line.
