Years ago, one of our customers was looking for some specialty temporary lighting for a military application. This distributor’s focus was on tough shelters and field support systems that would be used all around the country and world in all kinds of environments. They tried to find something “off the shelf” but found that most temporary lighting out there did not meet their strict requirements. They needed to find a light that was manufactured in America, was durable, and could be customized for their jobsite specifications regarding the ballast. Additionally, it needed to be lightweight and daisy-chainable so it could be run on a generator just about anywhere.
