A major electrical distributor had a customer in the gas utility industry who was searching for lightweight explosion proof site excavation lighting. The distributor knew of the KH HazRay™ Stringer but also knew his customer’s worksite area was smaller than the average, prompting a need for a custom solution.
KH Solution
The fully configurable design of the KH HazRay™ was an ideal choice for this customer. By reducing the standard 5-lamp HazRay™ Stringer to 3 heads, 6 feet apart, KH was able to create a C1D1 stringer that was as unique as the application required. Both the distributor and end user are more than pleased with the resulting product and have purchased enough for their entire utility fleet.
