Job Description: K&H Industries is seeking a qualified professional to manage and lead our inside sales team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales within the manufacturing industry. The inside sales manager will be responsible for all aspects of the inside sales process. This includes but is not limited to, lead generation, strategy development, managing the sales administration process and effectively leading and managing the sales team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Suggest and implement improvements to the existing sales process.
- Identify possible opportunities within current customer and prospect base.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure quality leads are received.
- Participate in the preparation of sales goals, quotas and metrics, particularly the preparation of yearly sales forecasts.
- Effectively manage the sales team as they interface with customers on quotations and order requirements; receive and acknowledge sales orders and enter into system.
- Ability to lead the sales team as they resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
- Manage the RMA process.
- Track product sample and evaluations.
- Monitor the activity of employees and provide motivation for meeting sales goals.
- Supervise, manage and lead the sales team effectively and according to the policies of the company.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of pricing relationships to sales goals and revenue expectations.
- Ability to manage, lead and motivate inside sales team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and management skills necessary for leading a team.
- Demonstrate familiarity with various sales and lead generation tactics.
- Show a strong work ethic necessary for leading by example.
- Has the ability to work in a fast paced and self-driven environment.
- Experience in CRM and ERP Software required.
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform the job:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, marketing or business related.
- 5-7 years of relevant inside sales experience with proven results.
- Exposure to manufacturing production preferred.
- Experience in creating written reports for delivery to senior management.
- Travel may be required (up to 25%).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proven track record of delivering results, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
- Strong leadership skills, with the proven ability to develop and lead a team to success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and concepts effectively.
- Working proficiency in CRM and ERP databases, with the ability to leverage data for informed decision making.
Salary Range: 85,000 – 120,000 USD
