We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team!

Job Description: K&H Industries is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.
This candidate will support the sales department by efficiently routing inbound customer calls and managing customer communication via phone and email. This candidate will be responsible for frequently engaging with customers to gather missing and/or incorrect details while reviewing purchase orders, and accurately entering all information into our internal ERP software.
This position will work closely and communicate with the accounting department and our production team to ensure an efficient operation. They may undergo customer service cross training at our sister company nearby, to serve as a liaison in ensuring seamless service continuity, especially during emergency situations.
Essential Duties:
- Answer and direct inbound calls, emails and faxes in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist in resolving of customer complaints and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Review and enter sales orders accurately and promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Tasked with contacting customers to resolve any discrepancies or incomplete data on purchase orders, facilitating a seamless order fulfillment process.
- Communicate regularly, effectively and timely with multiple internal departments to coordinate customer requests and resolve issues.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.
Required Skill Set
- Strong computer aptitude, including proficiency of MS Office, CRM and knowledge of paperless transaction systems.
- Experience working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Positive and upbeat attitude with commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Highly Motivated, Self-Driven Attitude with proactive approach to problem solving.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the customer service field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and knowledge of customer service within a Manufacturing environment.
- Additional certifications or trainings in customer service are a plus.
